Dear Hunger Heroes,

During the holiday season, I cannot help but stop and reflect on the memories made this past year at Harvest Hope. As you gather with friends and family around your holiday table, please reflect on the enormous impact your generosity has provided many neighbors in our community. Together, we have made a tangible difference in the lives of two million individuals and families facing hunger.

These accomplishments wouldn't have been possible without your compassion and commitment. Whether you donated your time, your resources, or simply spread awareness about our cause, your contribution has made a profound impact. As we enter the new year, I am filled with hope and promise for what 2024 will bring.

This month alone, Harvest Hope's emergency food pantries and agency partners have helped over 57,000 families  have food on their tables. This doesn't include the thousands that were fed through our holiday meal kits, partner agencies, and other programs. None of this would be possible without you.

To our Harvest Hope team that is united under a common goal and purpose, I am so incredibly proud of your hard work to end hunger in South Carolina. Your passion for the community we serve is inspiring. As we enter the holiday season, I hope you take some much-deserved time to relax, recharge, and spend quality time with your loved ones. You deserve it!

To our partners who join us in our mission across our twenty counties, serving individuals day in and day out – thank you for your support and for your investment in your neighbors’ lives and well-being. A community thrives when its members support each other, and you help us make this a reality.

To the families who need our support in their most vulnerable moments: we know that you face many challenges, and we thank you for trusting us as a resource in your community. We are committed to providing you with support when you need it because we believe every individual deserves an environment where they can grow, prosper, and have a seat at the table.

To our donors who give us unwavering support through donations of time, money, and food, I am immensely grateful for your invaluable contributions to Harvest Hope. Your continued commitment to our mission and unwavering belief in our work remain the driving force behind our success.

To our volunteers:  Your spirit of volunteerism has not only fueled our progress but also inspired countless others to join our cause. You are the embodiment of compassion, empathy, and a desire to contribute to the greater good. We are truly fortunate to have you as part of our team and thank you for the hours you spent selflessly volunteering with us, providing a smiling face, a helping hand, and a warm heart to our neighbors in need.

To the communities that are building a hunger-free tomorrow alongside us in 20 counties across the Upstate, Midlands and Pee Dee, thank you for making a difference in all that we do. I know that no matter what we do in the fight against hunger, we can always count on those within our community to be there to support us and fight with us every step of the way.
